MotivateSA was born from a deep, personal belief in the transformative power of education. Growing up on the dusty streets of Samora Machel in the Cape Flats, our founder, Michael, was driven from a very young age to use education as a vehicle to uplift his family. Today, as a qualified civil engineer, Michael has lived that transformation firsthand.

But his vision doesn’t stop with his own progressive success. Driven by optimism, resilience, and a passion for empowering others, Michael founded MotivateSA Tutoring (Pty) Ltd to give back through empowerment. By combining his deep expertise in engineering with technology, innovation, and systems thinking, he established a tutoring company built to deliver top-tier, high-quality education at low fees. MotivateSA isn’t just a personal project; it is a mission of national importance designed to ensure that South Africa produces competent, highly capable, and globally relevant students, regardless of their financial background.
